Trying to get new followers on Pinterest can be frustrating when you are trying to build your brand. We realized we wanted to “clean up” our followings and work to gain more followers of our topics. One of the easiest way to gain more followers is to friend others, but there are times you want to unfollow some of the people you have already followed.
Below you will see the fastest way to delete inactive followings. You will be able to delete them in a quick, bulky fashion.
The best way to ADD followers is:
- Login into Pinterest
- In search bar enter your “niche”
- Then click on BOARDS. This will be like-minded people in your niche
- Then click on followers
- And follow every person.
Overtime these people will see you are following them and more than likely follow you.
When first getting started, you may get an error that says, “due to spam you are blocked.” In other words, Pinterest thinks you are spam or a bot and cuts you off from adding pinners and/or borads. That’s ok, I have read many blogs where we all have ran into that error, just come back a few hours later and pick another board and start the process over. Pinterest just gets worried you are spamming, which is nice to think that they are looking out for you.
In one month we had gained over 150 followers by using this process.
How to DELETE people you are following:
Now after a while you will notice you have a larger following than followers. This is ok.
